(Port) Wine of the month September 2017: Kopke Colheita 1957

Back in 1957 some leading aeronautical scientists founded an organisation to ensure the peaceful understanding and developement of the aeronautical sciences. Some 60 years later the leading experts of the world met in Switzerland to organise the programme for the XXXI. Congress in Brazil 2018. 60 years, more than 60 persons from 25 different countries, non-political. A great story which was celebrated with some bottles Kopke Colheita from the founding year.
Dark brown colour. Very balanced, complex bouquet with intense honey and caramel, nuts in the back. Malt, honey, coffee and noticeable acidity on the palate. Medium long aftertaste. 18/20
